Matt’s background

Matt has spent over 12 years training intensively, competeing as a boxer for a number of years, playing football at a semi-pro level as well as competing extensively in mixed martial arts tournaments.

Through this he learnt a huge amount from various trainers and coaches, as well as being able to compare these various methods and discover which work best.

Building on this Matt then went on to study as a personal trainer and currently has the following qualifications:

        • Premier diploma in personal training
               This includes:
                        Nutrition
                        Fitness testing
                        Sports injuries
                        Register of exercise professionals

        • Doctors referral certification

        • Pre and post natal

        • Extreme kettle bell qualification

        • Advanced functional training qualification and postural assesments

The combination of this wealth of knowledge and experience has informed Matt’s philosphy which is suprisingly simple but requires hard work to achieve:

        Cardio vascular exercise + resistance training + diet = dramatic results
